PLUTO AND THE 418 CYCLE

Pluto has a 248 year cycle as does the “Pentagram in the Sky” delineated by the conjunctions of the Sun and Venus. 248 is infinite God: 24=GOD and 8=infinity. The Moon initiates us individually in the days of the 418 ritual; HERU-RA-HA =76= TAURUS, PLUTO initiates us collectively in the 418 cycle of initiation, which is provoked by linking the cycles by the performance of the SunVenus Ritual during the period that Pluto has been transiting through 418; that is, Libra-Scorpio-Sagittarius-Capricorn.

The 418 cycle, Libra-Scorpio-Sagittarius-Capricorn, is a more precise representation of the course of human activity than the old formula of IAO.
A course of action begins in Libra. At this stage one defines one’s commitment to the project and the equilibrium of inactivity is disturbed. In Scorpio come the unexpected events, when the original plan has to be modified to accommodate the unfolding circumstances. The Sagittarius phase is one of incoherence as the changes demanded by Scorpio are assimilated into the progress of the work, and in Capricorn the methods are perfected and the completion of the task is achieved.
It could be said that as the House of Karmic Adjustment LIBRA=58=ZODIAC contains all the preceding signs where the development of Karma occurs: we live until we are judged in the form of a terminal illness caused by the manner of our lives, this is Libra, and death happens in Scorpio. After three days (Sagittarius) we enter Heaven,- in Capricorn.

Pluto’s transit through 418 started in 1971 when it entered Libra and then in September 1972 it was established at 2 degrees of the sign. Accordingly, humanity was judged in the 70’s, and spiritual consciousness died in the 80’s, in Scorpio. It was said in 1984 that God was dead. The period of Pluto in Sagittarius has produced all kinds of godless philosophies and crazy ideas that have milled about and achieved nothing. By February 2009 Pluto will be established in Capricorn at 2 degrees. As a matter of interest, when Pluto was at 2 degrees of the opposite sign, Cancer, the First World War began; and at 2 degrees of Leo, in 1939, the Second World War began. Let’s hope that by exposing these latter facts, 93 will not allow such dire consequences to happen again!

There are so few who have succeeded in getting through 418 to this point in time. Many have been driven mad by the stresses imposed by the archetypes of the cycle. Others have given up in despair and have vanished into the security of ordinary life. Sickness and disease have afflicted some and they, having been unable to abreact the forces, have succumbed to their maladies. Only the chosen few have survived to be in any position to undergo the the transformations that Heru Ra Ha (Pluto) will give at the end of his 248 year cycle.

Pluto=76 is Taurus=76 in action. People with Sun in Taurus have the characteristics of Pluto. Taureans are usually plutocrats who, like the Bull, don’t look where they are going and inevitably end up in someone’s china shop. Pluto/Taurus in its present phase seems hell bent on destroying as many china shops as it can.

We are now living through the chaos of Pluto in Sagittarius wherein all kinds of mad ideas come to the surface such as the greenhouse effect and global warming. They are like fireworks that start off in a blaze of publicity and die out like damp squibs, as they have no power to sustain them. These are the days when God sleeps, and the eternal Now becomes amorphous; it is a time when we dream of the past and hope for the future, and do not live in the Now.
When Pluto enters Capricorn there will be transformation for the Initiate, it is the end of the 418 cycle when initiated consciousness, after having been judged in Libra, died in Scorpio and experienced the long dark night of the soul in Sagittarius, will awaken transformed by that dark night in Capricorn. For the ordinary spiritual person there will be spiritual regeneration, and a general sense of waking up for the rest.
This may coincide with a shock to the world as a wake-up call. It is quite a dangerous time because the sudden change of focus could well lead to a conflict between nations as each tries to identify with the outrush of power. The most dangerous point will be when Pluto reaches 2 degrees in late January/February 2009. This will be a time when initiates will again have to balance the concourse of the forces as they did during Pluto in Scorpio in the 1980’s at Stonehenge.

The mantra of Pluto-Capricorn 418 is "wake up".  WAKE UP = 81 = TRUTH. Counted well WAKE UP = 248, the orbit of Pluto, and the completed Pentagram of Sun conjunct Venus, as Initiates of the Ordeals know.
