The Robe
What is the symbolism of the robe in ritual? We know the symbolism of the wand, cup, staff and pentacle but what symbolism does the robe conceal? it is a symbol that both men and women use in ritual.
The symbol of the robe is that of the hooded Serpent Kundalini or clitoris, the original phallus. It is hooded and skirted as the clitoris is hooded and feminine. It is the symbol of the original intent of creation. The robe is the symbol of the will to create, the rest of the weapons are the means by which that creation is accomplished. When the hood is over the head then it is passive and observant, when the hood is thrown back it is active and magical. The Kundalini/clitoris is the will to create, the phallus is the will to reproduce. Magick is about creation, religion and science manifest the rules of reproduction. Woman’s function is to create, man’s is to reproduce, we must become feminine in function if we are to be magicians. By this I don’t mean homosexual, this is the gross absurdity of little boys who are afraid to be men. To gain the favour of the Goddess one must worship her. The robe is the symbol that feminises men in their great aspiration to return to the source of all things. The emblem of the creatrix (=142 EQ, 2/76 is the 142nd verse of Al). There is a number missing in the Book of the Law, the numeration goes from 141 to 143 and misses out 142, this is the ‘‘word not known’’. The word with the value of 142, the highest word, the word CREATRIX the feminine creator as symbolised by 2/76 the 142nd verse of Liber Al. The Robe is the symbol of the creatrix, the first cause.
CREATRIX=142 CREATOR=104=SECRET. ‘‘To him by a secret name when at last he knoweth me.’’ CREATOR OR as in 2/76 MOR the created one OR=19=Q the created entity. CREATION=119=EMPRESS. The creation must have the nature of that which created it. The creation is feminine in the name of the Empress, the Creatrix is feminine in her word 2/76.
‘‘The rituals of the old time are black.’’ BLACK=45=HORUS. The robe without seam that Christ goes on about.
‘‘This is the creation of the world.’’ THIS=56=ISIS. Isis is the creation of the world, creatrix of the world. ISIS as in IS IS. A male god tried to say ‘I am that I am’ but fell apart in the attempt, see the Osirian era for details. ISIS what is, is.
